Kester Avenue/Kester Magnet is a California Distinguished LAUSD public school and the best neighborhood school in Sherman Oaks! We are planning our 4rd Annual World Music & Art Festival for Saturday, April 24th, 2010 and we are seeking support from our community.

When most of us were students, we enjoyed art, music and science programs as part of our basic education. Currently, LAUSD is facing over $400 million in State budget cuts and many students do not have access to these important educational experiences.  Now more than ever, every dollar we raise will assist our school to maintain its high academic standards, and keep our children learning.

The past  three World Music Festivals have been a great success! With the funds from the past Festivals we have been able to increase the amount of Physical Education, Art and Music from previous years to our 1,000 students and we hope to not only continue, but enhance our program!  Join us on April 24th!
